ORPADT
ORPADT is an ORganization
for the PAramedical staff of Dialysis and Transplant
centres.
ORPADT is a Renal Care
association situated in Belgium. Our members are mainly nurses, social workers,
dietitians and technicians working in the Dialysis and Transplant centres
throughout the Dutch speaking part of Belgium.
ORPADT organizes several
symposia about topics concerning dialysis and transplantation during the
academical year (October till May). All symposia are in the Dutch language.
Members of ORPADT receive
3 to 4 times during the year our Dutch magazine, ‘Forum’.
‘Forum’ articles which are
at least one year old are available on this website. We do have a documents
section, which contains some English written pdf-files. (click
here)
ORPADT has an association
with the RDRTF organization (Renal Disaster Relief Task Force). Members of
ORPADT team up with this organization on a volunteer base, at times when the
RDRTF organization needs nephrologists, nurses and technicians for the support
of sudden increase in patients who need acute dialysis in disaster areas,
typical after severe earthquakes.
